YES . . . I was hoping that the DIV approach adopted in V5 would help, but its not that much better. My approach is to try everything you can to avoid making changes in the visual editor. You can do a lot with styling using the custom view properties for fields, inserting code snippets, and developing your own custom layouts and style sheets (which work really well). After developing ~ 20 applications with PHPRunner I think it is a great product, only let down by the visual editor. 90% of my time on any project is spent mucking about with the visual editor and dealing with the issues it introduces.

Hi Jane. I will do, next time I "play". But please tell me, when the VE corrupts, how does this corrupt the original project.phpr file that I'm working on without saving it? That's a complet no no. Denton

I need to step in for the Support team here. Yes, the VE is buggy, and I know it's gonna be 90% better in V5.1 . It's 100 times better than when I started with V3 something a few years ago. |
