Add an url in event

I'm having no luck adding events either. I'm finding the calendar stuff to be touchy and not real easy to modify. All of the calendar stuffseams to be displayed using events that don't even look at what we add. I can't even get an echo statement to work with a before edit event. No errors are produced but nothing is output either. I'm finding that outside of building exactly what was shipped - the calendar doesn't work. Maybe it's a windows thing or possibly a PHPRunner5 thing.
