Drop down list always picks the first entry

We are evaluating phprunner for use in our company. We decided to build a small application. It is running on a LAMP server.
The drop down list always pick the firs entry no matter what the user picks. Do you have any solution?

I think in a related problem. we have dynamic permission enabled. When you try to edit a user to change password or something it only display the first user and edits that.
