Restricting User (can edit/update 3 project at a time)

Hi,
I have a website where users pick projects. How can i restrict them so that they can only pick 3 projects at at time. Once they complete a project they can pick another to make the count 3 again.

Hi,
use custom events to select number of open project and restrict user access if needed.

I can't give you more specific tips without description of your project, tables, etc.
