General question about manual editing

Hello,
I have a question about what is allowed with manual editing in the visual editor?
example:
I made a project and changed the edit and view page in the visual editor.

Afterwards I added some fields to a database table.

In the field selector I made sure those new fields were not selected for the edit and view page.
But ... the new fields are added in all the pages I did edit myself in the visual editor.

As manual editing those pages is time consuming I hope there is some kind of solution for this.
Any tips?

if you do not checked off new fields for edit and view pages on the Choose fields tab these field won't appear on these pages on the Visual Editor tab.

English is not my native language and I'm not sure I do understand what you say here.

Should I keep those new fields selected in the field selection page or not?

Johan,
if you want to add fields to the pages check off fields on the Choose fields tab. In other case uncheck it.

As I told you English is not my native language and I'm sorry to bother you with this again.

In the sentence above I do not understand what's the difference between check off and uncheck.
