I need to import data from another database. is it possible to do this in a event (after login success, for example)?

I recommend you to import data from one database to another in any MySQl adminisrtative tool.

SQLYog is one such tool, and seems OK for this, but will only synchronize when the structures match, I believe.

try Navicat, there is a trial download availbale, but it will load data from mant different databases directly.

Worth every penny
