More 'required' fields than defined

We use ASPRunner 3.1. We "compile" the project without any problem and we can see the contents of the database through asprunner administration. However when we try to edit a record we see that there are a lot of required fields to be filled. We did not defined these as "required". We did not even defined these files as "required" in Access.

Any idea why this happens?

You need to have the 'Allow Zero Length' set to 'Yes' for all fields under the 'General' tab (in Access).
