OK, this is turning into thesofa's personal support request forum, and I thank all of you for the help I get.
I have a master table with 4 slave tables.
Pupil is the master table and the slave tables are as follows
Detentions
Behaviours
Efforts
Service awards
at the moment, if I want to give a service award to a group of pupils, for example to a tutor group, I can filter out the tutor group, i then need to select service award for each pupil, then add new, then pick the reason and click save. This takes me back to the pupil list, where I can select the next pupil and repeat.
It would be lovely if I could do this differently.
Filter out the group of kids,
select them all
deselect the 2 or 3 who are so bad that they cannot have a service award,
pick the reason for the service award, for example, 95% attendance in the last half term.
click add and it adds a service award for the reason selected to the list of pupils selected. The service award records are stored in a separate table.
Can I do this?
Can I do this with PHPR?
Can WE do this please?
Cheers and TIA
