Hello, can i add a search box on my menu page, so that i can be able to search across all tables.

PHPRunner doesn't support search across all tables.
Not really sure how you want to display results after this search.

Well, what if you want to add a search box (similar to the one at the top of this page) on the menu page that searches only one (1) field?
The field that I would like to search is called "ShortDescription".
