It seems that in build 379 you cannot set a field as a password field, you check the box, click ok, go back into properties and the check box is cleared again.

please make sure you've selected Password on the left panel on the "Edit as" settings dialog on the Visual Editor rtab.

That was it, thanks, can't really see the point of the password checkbox though?

this checkbox is superfluous.

We'll remove it in the next version.
