hi

i have created a small access database for an educational instutiton.

However, i wondered if it is possible to create a website that allows Students to input data into this access database by having a login section - which allows students to view their own personal details (from the database) and submit their availability/timetable (which would be stored in this database) using a website interface.
So it would be like a log in, view your details, submit new details etc just specifically for that particular user.
Is it possible to do this using ASPRunner?

Connie,
sure this is possible.
You need to proceed to Security step in ASPRunnerPro and choose Advanced security option Users can view and edit their own data only.

Is it also possible that people automaticly go to there page with there information. So that they will be redirect to te ..-edit.asp insteed of ...-list.asp?

Does ASPRUNNER have security features to allow new users to self-register? So new users can choose a 'new user' link and add their data (including password for next subsequent visit and login), not sure if an email can be sent? (May need to setup CONTS, ASPMAIL, etc.), but just a suggestion. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
