I need to diplay an active hyperlink in both the "add" and "edit" pages for customers to click on to bring up a refence document.

Using the controls in the build tool, I created the hyperlink and defined it as such in the "View As" section.
Now when I view the EDIT page it is appears and works, but it does not appear in the ADD page at all. Am I missing a setting, or is a work around needed for this?
Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
I'm not sure that I understand you correctly.

There is no value on the Add page and hyperlink is just empty. Is it right?

Please give me more detailed description of what you need to achieve and I'll try to help you.

Sure,
When someone opens up the ADD form, I need to provide them with a hyperlink that they can click on to bring up an HTML page that gives them more detailed instructions outside the form.
Using ASPRunner 4.0, I defined the field as "Hyperlink" in the "View As" value and completed the details box around where to point. Then I built it.
Now when I open the form in ADD mode, I only see the description field, I see no hyperlink. BUT, if I open up the the same form in EDIT mode, I see the description field and a functional hyperlink.
Hope this helps,
Scott
