User (my) name in 'new' client

Hi all,
When I add a new client it always gives it my own name.

Doesn't matter wich name I give the '_name' field, on ENTER it changes it to my own name.

Later, with 'edit' I have to change it.
How can I change this?

John,
I suppose you use User can see and edit their own records only secirut method.

In this case _name field is filled automatically with name of current logged user.
To avoid it create custom view on the Datasource tables tab for admin, check User can see and edit other users data option on the Advanced security settings dialog on the Security tab and add records in this view.

Hi Jane,
Thanks, this works.

But also leaves me with another problem.

In the _klant list I have tree master tables.

These tables now don't show in the Admin list. (still with me?)
It would be nice if I had an exact copy of the -klant list page.

Now I have to add a new client in Admin and then go to the _klant page to add his assurances and things.
Is this possible?

you can create views for another tables on the Datasource tables tab and set up master-detail relationships between these views.
