Upgrade Custom Layout Templates

With PHPRunner 4.1, I developed a custom layout template which was a combination of bits of the standard ones. With the latest build of version 4.2(368), this has parts that do not work. I can see a number of changes in the standard templates between the two versions (eg. list views have a common header and footer file) and I have a couple of questions:

  1. Should I expect the older templates to work with the new version (any backward compatibility)?
  2. Any tips for doing an upgrade to templates rather than starting from scratch with the 4.2 standard ones?

Alan,
in general templates created for PHPRunner 4.1 should work in the latest PHPRunner 4.2.

It's difficult to tell where is an error without seeing actual code.

Thanks Jane. You are right - I had another couple of issues which were causing a problem.
