Admin Mode not Working

Hi,
make sure that you check off Admin mode (access to all records) option for admin on the Permissions table in the Admin area.

Yep, the admin group has every box ticked including Admin mode (access to all records) option

Doesn't seem to have that effect though.

I am also getting these two error messages regularly and the only way to get rid of them is to removed and re-install dynamic permissions, but they keep comming back again.

download and install latest PHPRunner build.

Then open and rebuild your project.
If error will occur send your project file along with database creation script to support@xlinesoft.com for investigation.

Have exactly the same problems here
Compiled in build 349 and everything worked no problems.
Re-compiled in build 353 and those 2 errors occur and admin mode does not work.

Yes, I updgraded to the latest build and get these errors too, whereas the previous beta worked fine (in my case it just shows a different template name error during the build process - namely Rome).
Consequently, when attempting to view admin_rights_list.php or my users_list.php I get a blank screen (admin page) or error (users page).
Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem.
I can go the a permissions tab and add a new set of user tables and the build process will work correctly again, but just for one time.
IMO, this is a major bug.
Please help.

Well, I'm using the latest build (357) and have this problem (having upgraded from the last version of the beta which worked fine). So what PHPnewbie2 is saying is quite true I think.

The problem continue in the final build 357.
2 error messages when building and error when attempting to go to the admin view.
I am slowly starting to become a bit "impatient".

The first time its all ok. Then close project and again open and build project we have two messages:

C:\Program Files\PHPRunner4.2\source\ug_rights.php(8) - Unknown context ©TABLE.

And there we can't open admin area - message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in ..\admin_rights_list.php on line 8. This file is near blank - if its ok 214 kb and next time 21 kb.

Exactly same messages with me, but on another occasion, I tried to translate the captions of the recently purchased SHOPPING CART template into German language and was sure to have done it right.

Okay, just tested a bit more. You will probably encounter the same error initially even with the 358 build. However, just switch back from dynamic to static permissions and then, once you've okayed that, apply dynamic permissions again. Seems to build fine after that, even when you make subsequent changes or if restarting PHPrunner again.

Those annoying errors are gone now , thanks.

But the admin mode is still not working if "Users can see other users data;can edit their own data only"

is selected.

The admin user loses the ability to access all records.

As before it works fine if "Can see and edit their own data only" is selected
