The perfect asset manager

Hi - I've just been trying the asset manager in the innovaeditor which is all well and good and 95% perfect. I've also seen that in the new version of phprunner to be launched soon there will be the facility to resize images on upload. Two questions:

  1. Is there an open source image/asset manager that will allow image resizing on upload? Ideally an alteration to the innovaeditor would be great as I love the rest of it.
  2. Using the new built in image handler will there be the option to just resize based on one side (width or height)? Just having one box to enter max pixel size is not very practical if you want to insert a portrait image for example.
    Thanks,

Richard,
in the new PHPRunner 42. you can resize image based on width or height.

You can download last update of PHPRunner 4.2 here:

Regarding your first question.

I recommend you to have a look at the following link:

Hi -thanks for the reply. Regarding the 2nd question, there only seems to be one resize box option implying that the larger side of the uploaded image will be changed to the value in the box. I want to be able to put a value in there and have it only affect the width of the uploaded image (obviously constraining proportions).
Thanks for the php.net link but I think that may be beyond my php coding abilities. I'll have another hunt for this feature in another editor, though.
Thanks,
Richard

I think I've found the perfect editor:
http://xinha.webfactional.com/
It looks great and also free (with an image/file uploader and resizer). I don't know how easy it'll be to integrate with phprunner though.

Hi - yep, this editor is just what I need. It seems to the the standard one that comes with the htmlarea plugin for drupal 4.7 and works a charm.
I'd love to be able to just be able to choose it from the list of rich text editors and get the system to automatically compile everything - how do I add it to that list?
Thanks,

Richard

Anyone?
I won't bounce this message anymore but I thought someone may had used another editor to the 3 that are available by default.
