Is there a short way of backing up a MySQL database by using a submit button and being able to download the database as a backup?

Paul,
this task can be accomplished using any MySQL administrative tool, for example phpMyAdmin.

However it has no connection with PHPRunner.

Ok thanks. I can do it in phpmyadmin, but didnt know if there was a way of just putting a button on a page to backup the data.
