Hello,
I have a table called labour with fields such as Job_No, Engineer_Name and Working_Hrs and File_No.
I have a table called timesheet with fields such as Job_No, Engineer_Name Working_Hrs and File_No.
When the engineers do a weekly time sheet, they use the File_No to reference the jobs to, but on there time sheet, they might put down he following.
Engineer 1 might put down, File_No = QW 1234 and have 4 hours booked to it.
Engineer 1 might put down, File_No = QW 1254 and have 2 hours booked to it.
Engineer 2 might put down, File_No = QW 1234 and have 1 hours booked to it.
Engineer 2 might put down, File_No = QW 1254 and have 3 hours booked to it.
Engineer 1 will have a seperate time sheet from engineer 2.
The above information will be entered into the timesheets table.
Now, Engineer 1 might work on a job which the File_No = QW 1234, and on the sheet, he might only put 2 hours worked, as the other 2 hours was on another day he forgot about. On his time sheet he has put 4 hours, so I need a way of being able to see what the difference between the jobs is, whether it is greater or less so I can ammend the job sheets before they go to invoice?
I hope this makes some sense to anybody??????
Cheers
Paul.
