Hum, just wondering if anyone else has tried the ASPRunner 5.2 Beta yet?

I love the new features but there isn't any info how to use the new Group login

permisions thingy. Also everytime I try to build a project I get an error. Even when

I don't use security. The error is:
c:\Program Files\ASPRunnerPro5.2\source\include\commonfunctions.asp(1998) - Couldn't find element bAdvancedAdd
Anyone have any ideas?

5.2 beta 1 (build 347)
Sorry, but I'm not able to run any old or a simple new project. Is there something wrong with the download file (ZIP) ?

Sometimes it builds files, sometimes I get several errors an end up with empty screens in visual editor.
Regards,

Philip

Just started playing with Beta 5.2 (build 347) today. So far I am loving it! The new dynamic security is fantastic.
So far I have created a new project, edited and built from an old very large and in depth project and everything worked great including the dynamic security.
The only problum I have come upon is when trying to use the import (i just picked a table at random and selected import and set the table it requested to the default of tmp) after pressing next throught the theme selector i recieve the pop up error:
ASPRunnerPro5.2\sources\files.txt(9) - Couldn't find element bMenuItem

I am trying to get this to work but everytime I try to go into the Admin side and assign users to groups I get an http 500 error.

Any Ideas? build 348. Also when I go to builod the simple project a select new in the site index, it creates a new site but does not change the default address in the goto section.

It still displays the home site address.
try it here:
http://216.216.134.253/test/login.asp
login: admin

pass: test

Just noticed that if you change a view to vertical it get rid of the inline edit link, and selecting all a clicking edit selected doesn't work either.

Although it shows on the visual editor it does not appear on the actual generated pages in Vertical mode.

I keep getting errors on the Dynamic Security and on the SQL Editor
The sql editor says that it cannot retrieve columns information. I hit reset query, it shows my tables and my fields, but when i try to leave the item to go to the next one, i get this error.
Dynamic Security Fails on the creation of the tables.
What version of MYSQL does this work with?

Anything on the add users to groups problem?

Also I am having an issue with openning saved projects.
I get several erros "C:\Program Files\ASPRunnerPro5.2\source\files.txt(9) - Couldn't find element bMenuItem"
Also I have found that the editor has some issues with editing text fields. The links get removed if you put a space

in the name While typing, I can go back and add a space after typing but using a backspace or delete key also

makes the link stop following the text. Just takes a lot of time to make these edits.

ADODB.Recordset error '800a0cc1'
Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.

This problem occurs when I try to assign users to groups. (when clicking on assign users to groups). Any idea ?
