Very strange issue

This is a very strange issue that I have come across.
I had an old application which was built using 4.1, this app was very simple and all it does is stores staff holiday requests, the date selection is via a datepicker with calendar.

I decided to update this application to the London template using 5.1, everything went OK and it looked great for the revamp.

After I had uploaded the pages to the test folder which is a sub folder of the main site everything was OK (http://server/holidays/test'>http://server/holidays/test), but when I transfered the same pages to the main site folder for production (http://server/holidays), the datepicker calendar will not populate the drop down fields, although it will work in the sub folder!!!

I have checked all perms and everything is correct.
The platform is Win 2003 Standard, SQL Server 2005.
Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Sounds really strange.
Just in case make sure you transferred all files and subfolders to new location.

I have double checked everything, I have manually copied the files and re-uploaded them time after time via ASPRunner, I have even re-booted the server a few times, as I have said before it works fine as long as ithe app is in a sub folder, it's baffled me.

I have even transfered the files to a local PC and it's still the same.
