Hi
i have some trouble with 5.1 version
i have two field A and B
A is a lookup field
B is dropdwon dependent from field A
when i add a new record , all is running fine, and if i choose a value for field A and a value for field B (dependent on my choice in field A), when i edit this record , all is ok!
But i f i add a record , and i do not chose nothing for field A (leave "please select") , and of course i do not choice nothing in field B ("please select"), i can SAVE ny new record (and i found it on my list page) , but if i try to edit i receive an error

The row is one of "function prepare_for_db(field,value,controltype,postfilename)" present in commonfunction.asp
Have any idea ?
i have try to use different layout & style (i often work with LONDON layout and style) and also i try with a new project
