I have a website and from that website the employee logs into a second site which is a reporting site. Employees are around 600 and they are in all states. They go to the site to turn in various reports that were created in Access and ASP. No one who isn't associated with the company actually goes to this area. We have been discussing if we should have the employee dial into the in-house Server via VPN and keep the database, asp, html pages in-house versus on the WWW. Any thoughts as to what method is best?
All input is appreciated,

Bandit

If you don't need other services besides WWW/HTTP access you don't have to use VPN.
Probably you can search security newgroups for more info on this subject.
