I have not purchased the software yet, so I am still a trial user(I still have 12 days left). But I will purchase the software, because it has really made my job so much easier, and everything works great, except...
I have read several tutorials, searched the topics, and have tried just about everything on how to upload pictures and nothing seems to work for me. I AM NOT A PROGRAMMER or CODER so all the code that is displayed is just mumbo-jumbo to me.
I have 4 picture fields in my db that I would like to be able to view in List view(this is not important) and be able upload to my dbImage folder(Read/write enabled) on the root dir on my web hosting service's "windows platform web server", using both Edit and Add views.(this is important).
Right now in the Visual editor I have the 1st pictur field setup with the "View as" set at "File" and the "Edit as" set at "File/Image" and keep getting a "Write to File Failed" at the top of both the Edit and Add pages. which makes me think that I am getting closer to resolving this problem.
Also, I have seen alot mentioned about the upload.asp file, which I have not been able to locate
I am using ASPRunner Pro 5.1 Build327.
What do I need to do to make this work? I am a rookie at this so i need instructions in real simple terms.
