Hi I just upgraded to 4.0 B256 is there a newer build out that may be fix these?
I have a few issues;
- Catagory Control; an amperstand (&) in field causes dependant drop down to fail for that record only- varchar.
- Cannot choose or see an email field (Catagory Control) as the dependant drop down - maybe by design?
- When you create a Table (Custom View) and do not make it a Menu Item but want the Master table Information to show on the detail page printer friendly printout by selecting the tick all you get is something like this "Master table: [Roster]" and not the actual table information.
- I thought in version 3.1 we could change the field view in the visual editor by page? In 4.0 when you, for instance, make a field in the Add Page a Lookup table then you cannot change it to Read Only in the edit page without it changing back in the Add page?
- "A lil Pickey I know just a wishing" but when a tinytext field is populated with large amount of text and is in a Look up table then on the generated add page it fills the page from left to right no matter how long the text is, is there some way to have it fit properly (Formated to fit) on that page so that looks better and the words are shown normally?
(For those who are curious why I have it like this, it is a violation letter table needed to be sent via-email and there are a lot of regulations and rules to quote.)
And if anyone has intergrated a windows generic twain compliant scanner to upload scanned documents directly to the database, I would love to hear how you did it?
