Hi, Question? Can you add session variables to an Edit page? I have set the default on some fields in the add page of a particular group to a session variable, which works fine. When I try and add the same varaible to the same field in the edit page it doesn't work. If the answer is no this is possible, can anyone advise how you would get something like username (without need for user to type in) in a field within an edit page? Thanks
Use BeforeEdit event for this purpose. In this event you have an access to all field values and can modify it accordingly before it written to the database.
