I ianhull author Hi guys, I have this little issue here, [MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Host 'server213-171-218-34.livedns.org.uk' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server the livedns.org is used by my hosting company, the mysql server is on my local machine, i have uploaded my files to my host i changed the connection string to contain my ip and my mysql user and pass Any ideas why this is giving this error? My firewall allows mysql connections, and my router is forwarded with the correct port 3306 is this a local problem or a host problem? thanks ERROR NUMBER -2147467259

	You need to add a user server213-171-218-34.livedns.org.uk to MySQL server. More info: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/access-denied.html
