Data changes not refreshing on list page

When I modify a records contents through the edit page, and then perform an advanced search (a separate custom advanced search page) the changes are not seen on the resulting list page. However, the changes are shown on the view and edit pages.
I then create a new version of the same advanced search and save under a new folder without any changes, I can see the updated data.
What could causing the page not to refresh the data?

Have you tried refreshing the browser? Maybe browser is not set to check for updated pages.

I once could not get advance seach to work at all until I cleared the cache and all temporary internet files.

I have tried refreshing the browser and it does not work. The view page does show the updated contents. Just not the list page from the advanced search.

If you make a change using edit in the list mode and then go to the advance search and do not see any changes made to that record and then you go back to list mode and see the changes then my only guess would be the browser, because the change was made in the database.
Try clearing temp internet files.

It cannot be the temporary files. If I open 3 different explorer windows (view, edit and list pages), then make a data change and refresh the view and list pages separately, only the view page reflects the data change.
