Advance Search Problem

I noticed another post that had a simular problem, but there was no solution in the thread. Reciently, instead of just searching for the conditions that I have edited (2 or 3 of more then a dozen conditions) it will search for something that matches every condition on the Advanced Search Page. A few weeks ago (This was before I installed Vista so I think I was using an older version at that time) it would only do searches for the conditions that you changed... Do I have a setting wrong somewhere?

I have similar problems with Build 218 in that a simple search gives me correctly 17 returns out of 250 whereas the same search (1 field only) in Advanced Search gives me incorrectly the inverse 233 out of 250.

This must be related to the problem you are having?

Please go to http://www.ywdb.co.uk/phprunner/login.php and login as Alexey with that as password as well. Open the Boat Register and search the Type field for 'B' . The simple search gives the correct total whereas the advanced version gives all those not matching 'B'.

your Advamced search page works fine.

Looks like you checked off NOT checkbox near Type field on Advanced Search page.

All you need to enter there is B into Type box.

Absolutely correct!!! I saw the checkbox and automatically checked for the fields I was going to search on and of course did not look at the heading. Sorry about that but I guess you are used to clots like me!!!

This issue was never resolved, but using the beta of the new version it works fine...
