Error in edit page only

I have a project that was started in version 3.0. The data worked fine, the pages looked great. I upgraded to the newest version and everything "looked" to be ok. When I opened the project file to make a change I get the following error only when I try to edit the data.
You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1
I did not add any special SQL formatting. It is a basic database with nothing special about it. I can add data, but cannot edit the data or I get that error.
Any suggestions?

what was the fix for this? I am seeing the same error on my project when I attempt an edit.
