I got the following error when trying online. I know this host will work with php

because another php file I wrote connects to database and displays a table.

My first guess based on the error message is that the directory that is set by $compile_dir has the wrong permissions. I'm not certain of the chmod code, but I would think 755 would be in order at least on that particular folder.

I changed permissions and it works, thanks. By the way, I finally purchased after testing phprunner.

I was used of the 3.0 version, could modify things easy. The templates in 3.1 (smarty) are throwing me a curve, but I'll get there.
