Hyperlink - Not showing up on list page

I have a field setup as a hyperlink field ; so when you add a record it does a look up from another table in my database . I have the field in the list page and the view page setup as a hyperlink and have picked "Display as a word" ex. (Login to email) .... for my hyperlink . When I upload the project the field on the list page is empty . The display word (ex. Login to email )... does not show on the list page . Has something changed with hyperlinks in the new version 4.1.
