PHP Runner 10.91 crashes during project build

When crashing, are you getting a phprunner error or is it just a windows error ?
Have you checked that you are running the latest version of phprunner 10.91 ? I believe this is Build 41974 x64
It is quite weird though as I cannot see how phprunner would be dependant on ms-office. I assume you have tried running phprunner without ms-office installed. Perhaps you can also try going back to the previous ms-office version.

You could also check windows event viewer in case there are any errors relating to phprunner. Alternatively, you could attempt a sytem restore to the point before the new ms-office installation

George, thanks for the reply. It crashes without any notification. It just closes.
I'll check event viewer...

A few additional steps you could take include reinstalling or repairing the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable. I’ve encountered issues with it in the past when using other applications.

if nothing works, I would do a system restore to the point everything was working.

Issues like this are usually caused by software like antivirus or firewall, that may prevent PHPRunner from working properly. It is hard to see how MS Office installation may have to do anything with it.

In either case, here is what can be done to troubleshoot this issue further:

1. Turn off antivirus and firewall temporarily to see what kind of difference it makes.
2. If this helps, you need to add exceptions for PHPRunner and its components ( NodeJS ) in antivirus settings.
