v11 Code Hints & ctrl + spacbar don’t work anymore

is it just me or has code hinting and autocomplete been turned off in the latest version11. I just migrated one of my projects from 10.9 and in the newui I'm unable to hit ctrl+space for getting a dropdown of variable names in like events tab

for example in 10.9 i can type $values[" and it will suggest the list if fields used in that page

in 11 i dont get that option anymore
