"Remove filter" instead of "delete"

If a filter (on the sidebar) is set in an application and I want to remove it, the German translation for the corresponding button shows the label "Löschen". For some of our users this is irritating, so I would like to change the label "Delete" to "Remove filter". How do I do that?
