Scroll Table data not working when cells are merged

I have some lists quite long and also added SQL additional filters on data to simplify user selections.
it would be very nice to have "Scroll table data" activated in order to keep header and filters active

But it seems that it is not possible when some cells are merged. Merging cells seems creating a mess in "Scroll table data" option

This is behaviour is by design. Scroll table data feature will not work with merged cells.
