Hello All,

I recently had this under another title (maybee not read by many)

Who would be interrested in an european User Group?

  • Maybee German Language (AT, DE, CH)
  • or extended to Europe (SP, HU, CZ, etc.?

I repostet this to get an idea how many users of PHPrunner are located in this area and might
have interrest in a user group.

Kind Greetings,

Hello,

Any group has to have conditions to be a member, and above all, it must have objectives.

Depending on these objectives, or not, people who share the use of phprunner may be interested.

For example, the group is very different if the objectives are:

  • Share the same language.
  • Share experiences and developments.
  • Share requirements to set product evolution to the manufacturer.
  • Share purchase fees to reduce prices.
  • Have a better web to share experiences
  • etc etc.

My nature language is Spanish and I share it with many countries of America, so I am very comfortable with that group.

If the objective were to share experiences and developments, the more we are, the better and the language could be English.

The group might be interested whenever the objectives and requirements were fixed.

Forgive not put a long message and with many doubts.

Regards,
fernando

Hi Dalkeit, mikue,

Hallo Again fhumanes, mbintex,

Thank you for your interrest!
Currently I am collecting users who might be interrested (to see if we are enough in number to create a UG)
It now looks to me that we shall extend to europe, using english
We are currently 4 speaking german, 1 speaking english, one speaking spanish or english.

Also we can use this topic to discuss what might be the function of the UG and how we can add-on (not compete)
to the existing sources of information

Kind Greetings,

Just thinking on examples, what I would put somewhere in the (additional)
UG structures:

I am currently investigating PHPrunner and Wordpress Integration

  • I am aware that there might be a post in Sergey's blog

  • There is the information on the product page (of the Wordpress Template)
which lost paragraph numbering (therefore I also use wayback machine of it)

  • I know that fhumanes has posted on this theme

  • I am using Divi-ThemeDivi-Builder (elegantthemes.com) on top of wordpress

  • I do not expect anybody else creating solutions for me, but I am willing
to share any shortcuts I find.

  • So from my point of view there might be some meta-directory (pointing to other
    sources and adding additional information)

  • I have no fear that such solutions will simply be my work and others then benefit.
Collecting this allready helped me. And finding solutions on PHprunner
problems is most of the times post-sales/implemention time (where it might
reduce pain) and not influencing presales decisions. And from what I allready saw,
we are in seperated areas of the market, anyway...

Or 2nd Example: A-Project documentation tool

    • Produces a single file documentation of PHPrunner project (diff-able)
reads output created and possibly input (project file) too.
    • As low-code/no-code produce some opacity in documentation (program function split between many files,
config parameters etc.) - I would find such a tool helpful.
    • I am not sure if I would create this only for my purposes, but consider making an OSS project out of it.

Kind Greetings,
