Link to menupage-copy in Common Pages

My problem:

I have made a copy of the menu page (menu_1) in Common Pages and would like to link to this second menupage. Link to "menu_1.php" doesn't work, because in the output folder there isn't generated a page "menu_1.php". There is only menu.php - the main menu page.

Is it not possible to generate more than one menu pages and link to them?

It is possible but you must read the documentation that explains how to create links to additional pages.
