my project is appointment system...one criteria is...

if the customer preffered schedule is today, I can only pick time until 2pm only.

no condition on following days...

Just to understand.

You need to build an availability calendar.
You need to define for each day a certain schedule (ex: from 9 AM to 1 PM, from 4 PM to 6 PM and so on)
People can "book" an appointment only within the predefined schedule.

Is this correct?

that is one option, i'm looking more on javascript onload side if possible...
