Hello friends,
I use PHPRunner on web server which is OK for me to work. I need to work on local PC.

How to install MySQL on Windows XP system?

I tried and tried but failed. I dunno how to make it.

I used to have phptriad but had to uninstall it because it caused some troubles to my system

I have had MySQL running on Windows XPP for some time. This is where I do my PHPrunner development.
How far did you get with your installation?

Hi,
just download the latest MySQL release - Windows (x86) version - here:

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html
Then unzip and run the installer.

Hi,

I've been using WAMP server on both my laptop and work pc running XP pro for some time, and it's been the only install that worked "out of the box" with no problems for me. Installs what you need for doing PHP/MySQL site work.
