Different Lookup on Add and Edit Possible?

Hi All

Wondering whether it was possible to reference different lookups for a field when in add button or when in edit form.

For example a garage on add wants to show those cars that are presently for sale.

In Edit the drop down might contain all cars that have ever passed through the garage.

Just interested this is something that comes up a lot for me.

You can use 'Different settings for each page' option and setup lookup wizard differently on Add and Edit pages.
