Width of Elements/Objects

Goodday
I'm busy with a huge form for parents to add enrollment information.

Can someone please explain or share some example code How to "align" these objects correctly, and how to adjust their distances/width/padding? Not sure which one to use.
I want to move the "text" HTML added, left align with the EntryBoxes (Green Arrow)
And the make the Left Text Area Wider to allowe for more text to display (Red Arrows)
