Lost Access to Admin Area

Hi,
I recently noticed that my account has lost access to the Admin area. I am using Active Directory and Dynamic Permissions. Anyone know the best way to fix this? I have about 20 users in my database and would hate to have to rebuild access again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Actually, I was able to get the Admin area link back by logging out and retyping my credentials into the login screen. If I use the autofill credentials the Admin area link disappears. Weird. Anybody know if I can change that somehow.
