 Dropdown on LIst Search Panel

Please excuse me if this is a stupid question, but I want to search by company name in a List Search Panel.
How can I do this and then use the value to add to the search criteria?
I think the main issue is I don't know how to change the current text field that's in the search panel to a dropdown.

Make this field a Lookup Wizard and search settings leave the single 'Equals' option. It will appear as a dropdown on the search panel.

Thanks, I was making it a lookup wizard but not changing the search setting to Equal. I was leaving it as contains.
Thanks again, I'm learning but a long way to go.
