Clicking Sort in list page while in 'Inline Add' cancels.

I never really noticed this since I'm careful with my mouse. A client accidentally clicked a column header while adding a record inline and it cancelled the inline add.
I'm not sure if this should be a feature request or if we need to implement it for each table.
Under Misc settings in PHPRunner you have the option of "Warn about leaving Add/Edit pages" but this does not include INLINE option.
For example, go through the regular add new record page and enter some data. If you try and click back, you get a popup

Can this same message be applied to the Inline Add and Edit mode? If I click back or sort a column header, it doesn't warn the user and there is a possibility the user could lose their data.
What are your thoughts on this?
