Truncate large text fields

I checked the truncate large text fields but it doesn't work with me.

It didn't show the More ... link and the default characters to show is 100.

How do fix this manually ?

Hi,
Truncate large text option doesn't work if you select HTML in the View as dropdown box on the Formatting Tab.

You can edit ProcessLargetext function in the include/..._functions.php file. But you should be careful because you can break html formatting on the page.
