10060 error - cannot connect

I've verified host and login credentials and am receiving a 10060 error. Pleas eprovide any suggestions that might be helpful.

Hi,
error 10060 (Connection timed out) is a general network error.

It occurs if:

  1. the database host or MySQL server is down;
  2. network is down;
  3. your computer is not connected to network.

I get this message while fully connected and able to access MySQL using phpmyadmin in a different browser.
