 Problems with touchscreen laptops?

I just installed my phprunner database project on a new Microsoft Surface Pro 6 testing with both the detachable keyboard/mouse as well as touchscreen technology. Have there been reports of difficulties getting touchscreen to register page or other clickspots on phprunner projects? Opening pages and such or just problems in general with surface pros or other touchscreen technologies (non-mobile) ?
Update: Just in case it was the hardware, I took the Surface Pro 6 back, exchanged it for a new one and the same problems. My project app did not do well at all with touchscreen technology. Has to be mouse only. Comments? Am I doing something wrongly?

We haven't heard about any issues touchscreen laptops but you never know. Unfortunately, we do not have Microsoft Surface Pro 6 to reproduce this issue.

Don't bother. My opinion is that touchscreen technologies take away a lot of processing power or even if not, I found the machine underpowered. Case closed!
