Migration of Template Customizations

When I went moved from one build to another, there are minor differences in your templates, other then line by line compares (using ultra edit, of course), is there any other way to migrate mods in existing templates to the new ones that come with the build. If I don't use the new ones thing seem to blow up.

My mods haven't been that extensive, but this could be a real eye ball buster !

Thanks.
Paul.

Paul,
the only reliable way is to create a new template and move your changes.

Since each updates fixes some template bugs or adds new features you cannot stay with older template. In some cases it won't work.

I finally had a chance to install the upgrade, which looks great. But I have the same problem, I made changes to the template file to get the pages to look the way I wanted them to.
I can't remember now exactly what changes I made, and I am not sure how to use the new system to reproduce these changes.
The page can be seen at http://www.commuterclub.org/directories/or...snorgs_list.asp and was made in conjunction with a few simple style additions.
Can you please help me use the new tool to reproduce these pages with the colors and mouseover I have? If a upload a new set with the new version it overwrites the template defined page and looks terrible, so I can't use the new version as is.
Thanks,
Wayne

Oh, nevermind, I think I figured it out! Just a minor change to the list file and using an altshade class in the style sheet so that the alternating rows will revert back to the correct color instead of the background color.
Looks good!
