Cant publish with TLS enabled on server

Hi ,
I cant publish with PHPRunner when the remote server has TLS enabled.
Tried all the options:

1. FTP
   
   (this is disabled on server by choice)
   
2. SFTP
   In the interim I FTP'd with FileZilla to the server location, setting FTP connection to use "Use explicit FTP over SSL if available" and the FTP works great.
   I presume it has something to do with PHPRunner and its ability to handle TLS FTP login.
   What can I change to overcome this limitation?
