Hi All.

Just want to put this over to you, I have a project which is built with PHPRunner6.2 and it runs good, no issues. It is running on a Windows Server with Hyper V, on Apache2 with PHP Version 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.14

The pages when opened in Firefox with Firebug from the list to edit page take 1.67s to load, but if I build the same project using 8.1 it takes 4.45s to load. The invoice page when using 6.2 loads in 332ms but in 8.1 it just says connecting.
This is the list page to edit page

And from the please select on the edit page, the Basic Invoice is selected which shows this.

But then, I open the same project in 8.1, I dont alter anything just click through the pages and build it.

I then upload all files and run it.

Now there is a difference in the page opening times.

From the Job List page to page 2 takes just over 4 minutes

From the list page to the edit takes 4.45 seconds

And to open the same Basic Invoice just does not work?

Any ideas where I can go from this point please?
Thanks

Paul.

Just an update

It did eventually open the page, but took over 1 hour.
I dont get why it is quick in 6.2 but slow in 8.1, exactly same project opened in 8.1

The most simple way to free v8.1 from a blame would be that you upload at least 20% of the data or so to DEMO ACCOUNT of PHPRunner, if then the Speed Problem is still existing, one would know it is a coding issue, yet in other case it would reveal that something is wrongly configured at your end.

Thansi fopr the idea. But in my first post, I did say the exact same project works fine in 6.2

I then run 8.1, open project and select the very same project as I have just closed in 6.2 and build that.

I would think if there was a coding problem, I would have the same speed issue in 6.2
The code is not changed between 6.2 and 8.1.

Update

I did this,

I built the project again in 8.1 and saved it. I then I opened the new file it created saying it was built with a newer version.
I deselected the feature "AJAX search, pagination and sorting" and built it again.
Still it was slow
I then re-selected "AJAX search, pagination and sorting" and again built it. Now it runs better.
Next job is to get my office to sample it and see what there feedback is

... if you really need some more serious fire-power, then you need

to ask your office to lay down some dollars for some more RAMs,

say, on usage of http://www.memsql.com my test results on modern
